How to choose the suitable retort for you

When selecting a sterilization retort, comprehensive evaluation should be based on core factors such as product type, production scale, packaging format, temperature control requirements, and energy efficiency. Specific selection recommendations are as follows:
1.Liquid or low-viscosity products (e.g., beverages, soups)
Recommended: Spray-type sterilizer: Utilizes atomized hot water spray for uniform distribution, enabling rapid heating and cooling with precise temperature control. Prevents localized overheating while preserving product color and texture.
Also suitable for: Water-bath sterilizer: Fully immerses products in hot water for even heat distribution, ideal for rigid packaging like glass bottles and tin cans.
2.High-viscosity or easily segregating products (e.g., sauces, congee, sesame paste)
Must select rotary sterilizer: Continuous rotation during sterilization ensures constant agitation, uniform heating, and prevents sedimentation or separation.
3.Gas-filled packaging or products with high aesthetic requirements (e.g., soft-packaged cooked foods, prepared meals)
Recommended: Computerized fully automatic or semi-automatic spray sterilization retorts. These precisely control pressure and temperature to prevent bag swelling or rupture, ensuring product appearance integrity.
4.Glass bottles, tin cans, and other rigid containers
Avoid double-jacketed sterilization retorts. Their uncontrollable heating/cooling rates may cause bottle breakage or can deformation. Opt for fully automatic equipment with precise temperature control systems.
